Chisa is the newest 5-star character to be added in Wuthering Waves in its latest 2.8 update. She has her own banner to wish on, leaving players scrambling. Chisa’s Base Kit
One of Chisa’s greatest strengths is that she can fit in just about any Negative Status based team. This is thanks to a special mechanic, which increases the stacks for the effect up to 3. She also uses the Havoc Bane Skill, which ignores the defense of enemies. Combine this with the ability to heal, and Chisa can work as both a strong Support and Sub-DPS simultaneously. There are still a few quirks that hold Chisa back though. Ironically, the Negative Status reliance can be a weakness due to how niche it is. This makes her primarily placed in Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle teams, which don’t have a lot of wiggle room for upgrades. Also, some of her buffs are locked behind certain weapons, and she doesn’t do a lot of base damage alone.

The Best Weapons for Chisa
Chisa doesn’t have great base damage, so giving her a weapon with good Attack buffs is very important. You’ll want to keep Chisa alive for her buffs and healing abilities, so having good Attack stats is great for self-defense. The damage bonus also balances out her stats too, but you can also look for Energy Regen weapons as well.

The Echo and Sonata sets make up the core of every character’s build in Wuthering Waves. For Chisa, this is no exception. Chisa is one of the first characters to use the Havoc-Bane effect, making her power incredibly rare and arguably awkward right now. However, certain sets can increase her abilities, including her heals depending on how you wish to play her.

Chisa’s main roles in teams are as a Support or Sub-DPS. Whichever role best fits her depends strictly on how you build her. Otherwise, Chisa plays exceptionally well in Spectro Frazzle and Aero Erosian teams. This way, Chisa’s buffs have a place to shine, while also synergizing with the elements of her party members.
